Podcaster and comedian Joe Rogan said during an interview on Tuesday that “dozens” of celebrities have contacted him for COVID-19 advice.

Rogan shared the comment during an interview on “The Tim Dillon Show” with comedian Tim Dillon released on Tuesday that addressed a wide range of issues.

The podcaster did not disclose which celebrities had contacted him regarding COVID-19 information.

Rogan has received much criticism from the left regarding his outspoken views regarding vaccine mandates and his own experience with COVID-19.

One of Rogan’s own episodes was removed from YouTube after he invited Dr. Robert Malone as a guest on his podcast in December.

Rogan invited Malone onto his show after the scientist was banned from Twitter over the information he shared regarding the coronavirus. The episode discussed Malone’s vaccine concerns and views regarding COVID-19 communications in the media that he considered disturbing from his viewpoint as a scientist.

In response to the episode’s removal, Texas Republican Rep. Troy Nehls submitted Joe Rogan’s controversial podcast with Malone to the Congressional Record, saying the move would keep it from being censored.

“Today, I submitted the transcript from the @joerogan experience podcast episode #1757 with Dr. Robert Malone to the Congressional Record,” Nehls tweeted.

“Big tech wants to restrict your access to this information- but they cannot censor the Congressional Record,” he added.

Nehls also posted the full episode transcript to his own congressional website.

The Daily Wire previously reported regarding the congressman’s statement in support of Rogan’s podcast:

“By deplatforming Dr. Robert Malone for voicing opposition and removing the interview, Twitter and YouTube are once again proving that they don’t work for their users but for big Pharma, big media, and the elites,” Nehls said in a statement.

“When we stray away from our core principles of freedom of speech, freedom of expression, and freedom of debate, democracy is lost. Today, I entered the transcript of the Joe Rogan Experience #1757 into the Congressional Record to preserve the podcast forever. Big Tech may be able to censor information on their own platforms, but they cannot censor the Congressional Record,” he added.

His statement also referred to Malone as “a widely published mRNA vaccine expert who went on the Joe Rogan Experience podcast to raise concerns over the COVID-19 vaccine.”

Rogan was also involved in a controversial episode with CNN medical expert Sanjay Gupta during which the two discussed COVID-19 vaccines for children. The Daily Wire reported:

Rogan’s commentary, which Gupta seemed to agree with, was meant to illustrate why parents might be hesitant to give children a vaccine against COVID-19. At times, however, Gupta stammered through some of the conversation, seemingly missing the point.

“With a breakthrough infection, untreated, you’re probably more vulnerable than the average child, who is not vaccinated, who gets COVID,” Rogan told Gupta. “Like, people have died who are double vaccinated. In fact, there was a guy who just won an Emmy. The odds of that happening to a healthy child are very, very low.”
