CBS plans to keep its broadcasting rights to the Masters golf tournament in Augusta, Georgia despite its recent activism against the Peach State’s new election reforms.

In an article published on Friday, CBS joined civil rights groups, President Joe Biden, and other activists in urging companies such as Delta, Major League Baseball, UPS, and others to boycott the state and shame Republican lawmakers for passing a law which many of them claimed is a”racist” GOP strategy to suppress voters.

CBS originally headlined the story “3 ways companies can help fight Georgia’s restrictive new voting law” but quietly changed the title to “activists are calling on big companies to challenge new voting laws. Here’s what they’re asking for” over the weekend after receiving pushback for its corrupt activism marketed as “news.”

Despite the article’s warnings to companies headquartered and operating from Georgia not to donate to candidates who supported the election reforms, “spread awareness,” and “fight for federal laws” that would eliminate opportunities for future election adjustments, CBS did not signal any intent to engage in its own state boycott.

Even though activist groups such as the National Black Justice Coalition are calling for the PGA Tour, Masters Tournament, and professional golfers to “refuse to play in Georgia until SB 202 is repealed,” CBS did respond to The Federalist’s questions about whether it intends to give up its broadcasting rights to the popular sporting event.

Major League Baseball is one of the many organizations that chose to cave to leftist pressure and move its All-Star game out of Atlanta over Republicans’ election law. While Biden expressed support for this decision, former President Donald Trump told Americans to boycott the MLB and any other “woke” company opposed to election security.

“Baseball is already losing tremendous numbers of fans, and now they leave Atlanta with their All-Star Game because they are afraid of the Radical Left Democrats who do not want voter I.D., which is desperately needed, to have anything to do with our elections,” Trump said. “Boycott baseball and all of the woke companies that are interfering with Free and Fair Elections. Are you listening Coke, Delta, and all!”
