Joe Biden’s commerce secretary claimed the administration’s new vaccine mandate did not force anyone to get vaccinated. Appearing on MSBNC on Monday, Secretary Gina Raimondo said people who didn’t want to get vaccinated still had a choice.

That choice, according to Raimondo, was for unvaccinated Americans to be tested weekly or even remove themselves from the rest of the world.

“It is unacceptable now that people aren’t getting vaccinated,” she stated. “…There is no reason to not be vaccinated at this point. That being said, you are not being forced. You can work from home, you can get tested on a weekly basis.”

Meanwhile, several Republican lawmakers at both the national and state level are moving to protect their residents from the overreach of the federal government.
