Gas prices have reached a seven-year high with motorists paying 15 cents more to fill up compared to three months ago. According to Thursday reports, the national average for a gallon of regular gas reached between $3.15 and $3.19 as of Monday.

This has marked the highest prices seen since October 2014. Experts warned prices were expected to peak in the coming weeks and wouldnโ€™t drop until the vacation season came to an end.

However, experts also cited concern over a potential rise in the price of crude oil amid concerns over COVID-19 case numbers and how the could affect future demand.
