Lawmakers are coming together to call for the firing of Dr. Anthony Fauci following the strict COVID-19 mandates that lead to an economic collapse On the House floor Tuesday, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) and her colleagues discussed the Fire Fauci Act that was introduced in May.

GOP lawmakers said the origins of the virus are not being investigated thoroughly and those in charge need to be held accountable. The bill, which would reduce Fauci’s salary to zero, states that the top doctor “continually failed to provide Americans with accurate information on the pandemic.”

Greene pointed out the great suffering of businesses along with a rise in suicide rates and depression on part of virus restrictions. She also noted education has been affected and Fauci owes the American people answers. This comes as controversy continues to surround recent allegations on the Wuhan lab and its funding.

U.S. Rep. Mary Miller (R-Ill) said Fauci, the “unelected and overpaid government bureaucrat,” put orders in place that could have repercussions. She added that the release of Fauci’s emails, which detailed his knowledge of the COVID-19 virus, make his removal much more important.

According to congressman Andy Biggs (R-Ariz.), Fauci mislead the public at every turn. He also noted that Fauci never missed a paycheck during the pandemic, but other people did.

After others gave their remarks, Greene stated that this isn’t a Republican or Democrat issue, but that it’s about the people.
