Rep. Vicky Hartzler (R-Mo.) launched her Senate bid based off the “Make America Great Again” agenda. “President Trump backed his words with action. That’s what Missourians expect and that’s been my mission every day,” said Hartzler.

Hartzler announced her campaign on Thursday, making her the latest Republican to join the primary field in Missouri. She’s one of several contenders running to replace retiring Sen. Roy Blunt (R-Mo.) in next year’s midterms.

Hartzler has represented Missouri’s 4th District since 2011 and she has been critical of Joe Biden’s spending proposals. She also supports President Donald Trump’s criticisms of the Democrat Party’s socialist agenda, saying it threatens America’s values.

“They are endangering our security, bankrupting our nation, killing our jobs, fueling inflation, harming our children, defunding our police, shredding our freedoms and rewriting our history,” claimed Hartzler of Democrats. “They are destroying the country you and I love, and they must be stopped.”

Many Republican candidates are seeking endorsement by President Trump as the midterms approach, saying it may help them win over a greater number of voters.
