Progressive squad member Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) has stirred up controversy yet again after recent remarks about Israel. Like clockwork, Ilhan Omar is going viral for her latest remarks that unleashed a slew of criticism to what many are calling “anti-Semitic.”

In a Tuesday interview with CNN’s Jake Tapper, the self-proclaimed progressive stood by her tweet from earlier this month, in which she compared the U.S. and number one ally Israel to that of terror groups Hamas and the Taliban.

Unable to take any accountability for her remarks, Omar instead blamed her Jewish Democrat colleagues, accusing them of “not being partners in justice.” Many of her GOP colleagues have called her comments “divisive,” saying she is the reason there is stark division within the Democrat Party.

Even the White House has distanced themselves with Press Secretary Jen Psaki saying, “any attempt to draw an equivalency between the United States and our close ally Israel with a terror group like Hamas or the Taliban is false and unacceptable.”

In the meantime, House GOP members urged calls for her removal from the House Foreign Affairs Committee.
